Spare parts arrived. They weren't the problem unfortunately. Fridge is completely useless after being looked at by a 12v fridge specialist. Only four years old probably only run for about 8 months total in those four years. 1600$ for a fridge to run for 8 months is extremely disappointing. Only had a measly 3 year warranty. Time to buy a better quality fridge. Spoke to mycoolman warranty and they were the most arrogant and inconsiderate customer service ive ever had to deal with. I was blown away at how much they did not care about its short life and poor performance or about even attempting to help with reduced spare parts. Basically told me it is what is, we dont help out.
Had one section temp sensor start reading 20+ deg high causing fridge to run flat out all the time. Very disappointed coz fridge has probably only done about 200 hours. Clearly a systemic fault. Bought two replacement thermistors and replaced both. Pretty easy to do, and an instant fix. Happy 👍
Great fridge. First go on battery lasted 24 hrs albeit I didn’t open and shut the lid too many times. Dissapointing that the battery pack doesn’t come with a 12 v charger (optional extra) and no tie down/securing points except on the lid (difficult to open when secured for travel).
